Heaven! It's always the tacos, burritos or nachos for me and the fam. They are always so polite and have a couple of benches should you want to stay to eat. They get a bit busy around lunchtime, but it's worth the wait.

Tacos la San Marquena is 100% the best tacos i've had in the bay area, go here all the time, the prices, the service, and best of all the food is amazing. HIGHLY recommend it, my girlfriend loves it so much as well, best place for mexican food in general that i've had in the bay area.

Ordered veggie tacos $3 each and they were delicious and seemed really authentic. Came with avocado, soft shell and good amount of food. Way cheaper than Rico Rico and great experience like street food feel. Fast and efficient service and they also take card and Apple Pay now.

Food = juicy, freshly made, delicious. The salty, limey, and Judy flavor profile of the birria was a nice contrast to the crispy cheese and edges. Jam packed with flavors that married well together. I would choose the birria taco over their traditional tacos

They finally take cards! Love the suadero, al pastor, carnitas, and lengua tacos. So well marinated and flavorful- definitely a top taco spot!

Our favorite neighborhood taco spot! We were a bit nervous about this spot - it's situated right near 19th street station. We've had tacos in Uptown that weren't great, and have historically traveled to East Oakland for our taco fixed. But this spot is awesome! We probably come here around 2-3 times per month. It sits in a large parking lot, so parking is quite easy. The menu is simple, but still offers a variety of options. My partner loves the tacos, and I love the sopes (highly recommend, they are huge and only $5/sope). Everything is very reasonably priced. Service is quick, and staff is very nice. It's technically cash only - but there is an option to pay via Zelle or Venmo - it'll just be a little extra. Highly recommend this spot for a yummy lunch or dinner.

Taqueria Marquena is a solid food truck that's perfect for those in the area. Burritos are huge, and while a bit pricy at $13, still solid overall. Lots of meat too!

I discovered the Tacos La San Marqueña food truck on the corner of Webster and Thomas L Berkley Way. Each time I've passed by during lunchtime (between 12-2 pm), and it was twice they've been parked right behind a modest florist. So far, it's safe to say their prices justify good quality cooking and tasteful Mexican cuisine. I should know, coz I just scarfed down some of their Steak Fries (Nacho fries) earlier today! The Steak Fries were reasonably priced at $15 and it eats like a meal in itself. It's definitely a shareable dish for 2 people, but if you're a hungry guy like me...no judgement. I appreciated the fact that eat forkful bite of fries had a good amount of seasoning to it. It wasn't bland or salty at all. My only critique would be if the fries could come out more steamy hot--or even double-fried! During my previous visit (about a week ago), I remembering ordering just a single Quesabirria and an Soft Taco - Al Pastor. While the Al Pastor was pleasantly seasoned with fresh quality veggies and tortilla, I was even more impressed by the Birria! The birria was so meaty and juicy, I didn't even need consommé (which I didn't see offered as an add-on in their menu). Thankfully, the birria wasn't an oily, soggy orange torilla--with more cheesy oil inside. The birria was crisped up so well on the outside it maintained the juicy and creamy, cheesy texture of the birria on the inside. San Marqueña had the perfect touch! Unassuming Mexican foodie spot, with five stars! Yay! By the way, they accept Cash and Zelle. It doesn't look as if they accept debit/credit card or anything else.
